4. To promote our Festivals and events to build a strong economy and vibrant
communities, attract tourists and contribute to job creation
5. Encourage a linkage between culture and politics, seeing the promotion of
specifically African cultural communities as a route to increase support for
recognition, justice, and development
6. Promote the UN Decade for the People of African Descent
